Association Assessments

Each lot within Reata Estates is subject to annual and special assessments as defined in Article V of the restrictive covenants.  Each property owner in Reata Estates is bound by the covenants and has legal responsibility to pay annual and special assessments.

If members do not maintain a current mailing address (email or U.S. Postal Service) with the association administrator to receive invoices, per our Bylaws they are still responsible for paying all assessments including any interest, late fees, and court costs.

Annual Assessments

The annual assessment is $300 per lot.  It is due January 1st of each year and past due January 31.  The covenants allow the association to collect 10% simple interest for assessments that are not paid by February 1.

The association bookkeeper will send an invoice by email or postal mail as a reminder to pay assessments; however, each member is responsible for paying assessments on time even if invoices are late or never received.

If you cannot pay the annual assessment by January 1, please email the association administrator, James.Badgett@ReataEstates.org to implement a payment plan.  Members are allowed 90 days to pay assessments, but interest on the unpaid balance plus a late fee may be assessed.
